Fcc Congregation bought a piece of land in Ondayangady near Mananthavady town to start a convent. For about seven years,nothing could be done there.  The plan got materialized only in 2004. The parish is a big one and the services of the sisters were long due. But only in 2004 a convent could be put up. Now the convent provides residence to the sisters who study in the nearby Mary Matha College. The inmates play an active role in parish work also. At present the canonical novitiate is conduct here.
