One can only be surprised at the fact that almost every year, St. Mary's Province opens a new branch in some interior place in Malabar. It means that the membership of the congregation was growing steadily, the members were ready to go anywhere and face any hardship and the local people warmly welcomed them. Indeed, it was Divine Providence that made these things possible. And thus the providence convent came into existence and is functioning in a regular pattern along with a nursery school
