At present, this is the nerve center of the Province. In the beginning, it was a small house meant to accommodate the sisters who were teaching in the U.P. School there. From 1983 to 2007 Postulency was conducted here. Thereafter, the same was shifted to Kallody and the facilities here were made available to the inmates of Alphonsa Balabhavan. For a short period this house was the headquarters of the province On January 7th 1995, a small Prayer House was built  adjacent to the convent  and it functioned as  the 'Hermitage' of FCC  for a short period   and now it is a recharging station where sisters can spend one week  in prayer and meditation  in turn.
