Unlike the other branches of the convent, Shanti Bhavan is situated near a township and is easily accessible. Therefore, a formation house was built there in 1990. It is used now as an Aspirancy home. In 1991 the old house was converted into a home for the physically disabled and was named as 'Mercy Home'. Besides running these two institutions, the sisters also participate in the manifold activities of the nearby parish.   When they were better placed, Mercy Home was closed.
