Running old age homes is an important service in Germany. FCC sisters were running such a home in Bleez Castle. But a convent could not be erected there. Hence, the sisters withdrew from there and in 1995 took up another such a home run by the Caritas. The local bishop approved the Clarist residence as a Convent in 2001.
